- Labeeb: Tamarindo prices itself like a beach town that knows tourists are already there. Walking two or three blocks off the main strip for food consistently changes the bill.
- Labeeb: Puerto Viejo and Tamarindo are effectively different countries weather-wise. Planning a Costa Rica trip around one region's dry season and assuming it applies coast to coast is a common and avoidable mistake.
