Late April to June and September to October bring mild weather, long daylight, and the outdoor terraces at their best without August's shutdown. July and August get hot and humid, and this is when many independent bouchons and restaurants close for 2-4 weeks. December has a genuine draw in the Fete des Lumieres light festival, early December, but book well ahead.
