It's a date-based system, pick a cheaper date on the calendar and the same single-day ticket costs meaningfully less than a peak weekend or holiday week. Price out your actual travel dates before you build the rest of the trip around an assumed number.
- Universal and Disney don't talk to each other logistically. There's no shuttle or transit link between the two resorts, so if your trip covers both, budget real driving time, 20-40 minutes depending on traffic and which parts of each resort you're moving between, and factor that into how many parks you can realistically do in a day.
How to spend less
