How to spend less
- All Royal Museums of Fine Arts sites, including the Magritte Museum, are free from 13:00 on the first Wednesday of every month.
- Grand Place, Manneken Pis, and Cinquantenaire Park cost nothing and are among the best things to do in the city regardless of budget.
- Frituurs (fry stands) are cash-heavy and considerably cheaper than a sit-down restaurant for the same fries, carry small bills.
