When to go
May through September is the reliable window: warm, patios open, festivals running most weekends, and June's daylight lasts past 9pm. Late September into October brings fall colour in High Park and the Beaches with thinner crowds. December to March is real winter, cold and sometimes brutal, but hotel rates drop and the big indoor sights, the ROM, AGO, Ripley's Aquarium, are at their calmest.
