November through February, when daytime highs sit in the low-to-mid 20s Celsius and the humidity that defines Karachi's summer breaks. March and October are workable shoulder months. May through September brings 35-40C heat, high humidity off the Arabian Sea, and the monsoon window (roughly July-August), which can flood low-lying roads.

Karachi sits in Pakistan, so the country's broader seasonal pattern applies. October to April for Lahore, Islamabad, and Karachi, avoiding the brutal May-August heat and monsoon humidity. May to September for the north, when Hunza and Skardu's roads and passes are clear; the Karakoram Highway itself can close over Khunjerab Pass in deep winter.
