November to February is driest and coolest, best for full days of temple walking, and also the busiest and most expensive. July and August bring the wet season, hot mornings, heavy afternoon rain, and a genuinely different, greener Angkor with a fraction of the crowds. Avoid April if you can, the heat at midday is punishing.
