Frequently asked questions
Is this actually free?
Yes. Every practice test, the Readiness Meter, the Challenge Bank, and all three cheat sheets are free with no account, no sign-up, and no paywall. There's nothing to unlock.
How close is this to the real G1 knowledge test?
The real G1 test is 40 questions, 20 on road signs and 20 on rules of the road, and you need at least 16 correct in each section to pass. Our G1 Practice Tests and Exam Simulator follow that exact structure.
Where do the questions come from?
We write every question ourselves from official Ontario sources, the MTO Driver's Handbook, the Highway Traffic Act, and the Ontario Traffic Manual, and cite the source on every question. See our full methodology.
Do you store my answers or track me?
No accounts, no server-side tracking of your answers. Your progress is stored locally in your browser via localStorage; it stays on your device.
What if I find a mistake in a question?
Report it from the question itself. We review every report against the source material and correct confirmed errors.
